Curling and laser pointers
While waiting for ice at the DCC, I’ve been thinking of how I can improve my delivery. I hadn’t considered using a laser pointer before– does anyone know the thinking behind this drill?

It’s basically a ‘line of delivery’ drill. The laser light is projected on the center of the stone as you prepare to deliver. The laser holder serves as the ‘broom’. The light should not deviate from the center of the rock from the forward press, through the slide and release. You need a camera or mirror to see the result. I have a laser and on-ice holder if interested. The hanging string and mirror or camera works the same way, and I prefer it for my own practice. I would be glad to set this up for anyone interested.
