Movie about undead curling premiers
Although I haven’t signed on to the zombie craze embraced by a subset of America’s hipsters, this is one project that has my wholehearted support: Deadspiel, a movie about a curling match between humans and former humans (i.e. zombies). Deadspiel will premiere October 19, 2008 at the Bloor Theater in Toronto as part of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. According to the father of the film’s producer, Deadspiel is “The greatest curling zombie movie ever made”. I hope we get a chance to see this movie south of the border!

Thank you for including “Deadspiel” with your news items. Our world premier was on Sunday night and the Toronto crowd loved it. We will be submitting the film to film festivals in the United States and in other countries so I hope you get to see it soon.
